A little structure, plenty of room
How to use these questions.
When friends live in different places, a small detail can be a starting point. Pick one question for a call or copy it into a private message using tools you already use. There is no score, contact schedule, or need to catch up on everything.
Choose a question together on a call, or copy one into an existing private message thread. This site does not connect calls or send messages.
Answer in your own way, make something up, listen, or pass. On calls, cameras can stay off. In messages, there is no reply deadline.
Stop after one question, choose another, or change the subject. A late reply or no reply does not need an explanation.
One question on a call · 2–5 minutes
Choose a card together and invite optional replies. Cameras can stay off. The suggested time is a plan, not a target; stop or change the subject whenever you like.
Choosing a message prompt · 1–2 minutes
Take a minute or two to choose a question, then copy it into an existing private thread if it would be welcome. This is choosing time, not a reply deadline. No follow-up reminder is needed.
Suggested times are host plans, not results measured with groups. No one needs to finish the deck.
A call now, or a message for later.
Use your usual calling or messaging service. The two formats below are options, not a contact routine to keep up with.
During a call
One question, with optional replies
Ask whether a question sounds good, then pick one together.
Read it aloud. Speak, listen, make up an answer, or pass; cameras are optional.
Stop after that question or change the subject. No one has to take a turn.
In an existing message thread
Reply whenever you want, or leave it unanswered
Copy one question into a private thread only if a prompt would be welcome.
Add your own answer if you want, and make clear that there is no rush to reply.
Let the thread rest. No reminders, reply deadline, or explanation for silence are needed.
A short host checklist.
Keep the invitation optional; do not measure the friendship by replies.
No photos, room tours, location details, or proof of an answer.
Use your usual communication tools and check their privacy settings.
Choose another card only if everyone wants to continue.
Choose the questions that fit
24 questions. Three ways in.
The online player can mix all groups or draw from just one. These are the same prompts you’ll find in both PDFs.

A few things before you start.
Can we answer at different times?
Yes. Copy a question into an existing private thread if it would be welcome. Reply later, change the subject, or leave it unanswered. This activity does not set a deadline or send reminders.
Does this website provide a call or shared chat room?
No. The player draws cards on this device only. Read a question aloud or copy its text into your own calling or messaging service. Separate devices do not share a round or sync answers.
Do we need cameras or personal updates?
No. Cameras can stay off. Choose a made-up question, invent an answer, listen, or pass. Nobody needs to show a room, share a photo, or explain why they have been quiet.
Can I use the cards away from the website?
Yes. Save the Letter or A4 PDF, or print and cut the card sheets. Both sizes contain all 24 questions and the same call and message notes. The website needs a connection to load; it is not an offline messaging app.
