Easy to start. Easy to make your own.

A good way to play

Use one or two cards at the start of a meeting, rather than treating this as a test of work style. Choices are conversation starters, not instructions for assigning roles or judging colleagues. Start with the host choosing first so the format is clear.

  1. Explain that participation is optional and every choice is equally welcome.
  2. Read one card, allow a quiet moment, then invite A, B, or pass. In remote groups, speaking and chat are both optional.
  3. Ask for one or two brief reasons. Close with “Thanks—let's move to the agenda.”
In person: use a show of one or two fingers without moving around. Remotely: offer voice or chat and keep cameras optional. These are informal activities, not evidence of improved team performance.
